Our Approach
Short version: Collierbrands provides a next-level combination of function, quality and style. When conceptualizing a garment or piece of equipment for a brand, “What makes it great?” is always part of our brief. Today, our whole industry should be held to that standard: Every piece should have to be great or else don’t make it. We believe that Why a new product is put into the world and How it is made should be as important as What is being made.
Before making a purchase, Consumers today require more engagement/trust/transparency than ever before. With so much product the market, brands need an edge. By pairing stylish, authentic design with richly considered story, collierbrands strives to ace your project every time and create transformative change for your brand.
Long version: Today, as brand owners, as developers of future brands, or as product leads, we have to create product more responsibly and engage consumers on several wavelengths. There is the philosophical aspect of what the brand stands for (your “why”). There is the technical aspect of how you choose to make what you make. And then there is the actual product and the way it represents the why and the how.
That is our formula: A conversation between the Client and collierbrands to determine the “why” is the first step; understanding your hopes and dreams for a new brand/collection and the problem you will solve for your customer. The “how” can be a matter of fact (we will only used recycled materials or collected materials) or a matter of pride (US manufacturing for story). Lastly, the “what”: Product. All of this with the goal of establishing your brands’ specific visual/functional DNA and educating the consumer on “what makes it great?”
